Introduction

Tendovisc Tablet may be prescribed alone or in combination with another medicine. It can be taken with or without food. You should take it regularly as advised by your doctor. Do not take more or use it for a longer duration than recommended by your doctor.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor..Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it..Tendovisc Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

Tendovisc Tablet is a combination of four medicines: Chondroitin, Collagen Peptide, Sodium Hyaluronate and Vitamin C..Chondroitin and Collagen Peptide are proteoglycan synthesis stimulators which help in the building of cartilage (soft tissue that cushions the joints) leading to joint repair..Collagen Peptide also lowers pain and inflammation (swelling)..Sodium Hyaluronate is natural polysccharide (sugar) which works by reducing friction in the joints and helps them work smoothly.

You have been prescribed Tendovisc Tablet for the treatment of joint pain. Do not take any other pain killer without consulting your doctor. Inform your doctor if you are taking any blood thinners like warfarin or if you have any scheduled surgery. Do light exercise or take physical therapy to strengthen muscles around the affected joint and manage your weight along with taking this medication.
