Introduction

Temsul 0.4 Tablet MR is an alpha blocker that helps to relieve symptoms of enlarged prostate. It does not decrease the size of the prostate. It works by relaxing the muscles around the bladder exit and prostate gland, making it easier to pass urine. This medicine is used to treat benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH).

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. It may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

Temsul 0.4 Tablet MR is an alpha blocker. It works by relaxing the muscles around the bladder exit and prostate gland, making it easier to pass urine. This helps empty the bladder completely and reduces the need to pass urine frequently or urgently in BPH.

Temsul 0.4 Tablet MR helps in relieving the symptoms of enlarged prostate. It does not decrease the size of the prostate. Temsul 0.4 Tablet MR must be taken with food. You will feel better within hours or days of starting the treatment. Full effect is usually seen within 2 weeks. Temsul 0.4 Tablet MR may cause dizziness or sleepiness. Do not drive or do anything requiring concentration until you know how it affects you. Inform your eye doctor about the usage of Temsul 0.4 Tablet MR if you are scheduled to undergo an eye surgery due to cataract or glaucoma.
