Introduction

Temozorix 100 Injection is given by a nurse or doctor and should not be self-administered. The dose and frequency will depend on the severity of the condition and may change over time. It may take several weeks or months to see the benefits, but do not stop taking it unless instructed by the doctor. Common side effects include nausea, vomiting, constipation, headache, and fatigue. Regular blood tests are required to monitor blood cells, kidney, liver, and heart function during treatment.

Given as an injection into the vein under the supervision of a doctor only.

Temozorix 100 Injection is an anti-cancer medication that enters the brain tissues and works by damaging the genetic material (DNA and RNA) of the cancer cells, stopping their growth and multiplication.

Do not skip any dose and complete the course as suggested by your doctor. Use an effective method of birth control to avoid pregnancy while taking this medication. It increases your risk of bleeding. Be careful while shaving, cutting fingernails or toenails, or using sharp objects. Your doctor may get regular blood tests done to monitor your blood cell count and liver function. Inform your doctor if you experience severe skin rash, fever, chills, headache, and shortness of breath during the treatment.
