Introduction

Temcid 20mg Tablet is commonly prescribed to prevent stomach ulcers and heartburn caused by painkillers. It should be swallowed whole with water before or after a meal. The medicine must be taken as advised by the doctor. It usually relieves indigestion and heartburn within a few hours. If symptoms persist or worsen after 14 days, consult your doctor. It is not recommended for severe stomach disease. Most people do not experience side effects, but common ones include headache, dizziness, drowsiness, diarrhea, and constipation. Consult your doctor if side effects bother you or do not go away. Inform your doctor if you have kidney or liver diseases or are taking other medications. This medicine is generally safe during pregnancy and breastfeeding if prescribed by a doctor. Avoid alcohol as it can increase stomach acid and worsen symptoms.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it whole. Do not chew, crush, or break it. Temcid 20mg Tablet is to be taken with food.

If taking other medications for acidity, take them 2 hours before or after Temcid 20mg Tablet. Avoid soft drinks and citrus fruits like orange and lemon, which can irritate the stomach and increase acid secretion. Inform your doctor if you do not feel better after taking Temcid 20mg Tablet for 2 weeks. Inform your doctor if you have been diagnosed with kidney disease as your dose may need adjustment. Do not stop taking the medication without talking to your doctor.
