Tedykoff LX 1.5mg/5ml/1.5mg/5ml Linctus is a combination of two medicines: Promethazine and Pholcodine, used to treat dry cough in children due to allergic conditions such as common cold or hay fever. It also helps relieve symptoms such as runny nose, stuffy nose, sneezing, or watery eyes. Tedykoff LX 1.5mg/5ml/1.5mg/5ml Linctus causes mild sedation as a side effect. Never give this medicine to your child to induce sleep in your child as it can harm.
Directions for Use
Ask your child to gargle with warm saline water. Give honey and ginger to your child as it helps soothe an itchy throat. Avoid giving fried or spicy food to your child because these trigger coughing and can cause throat irritation. Give plenty of fluids to your child. Frequent sips of water help lubricate the dry throat.

It suppresses cough by reducing the activity of the cough center in the brain.
