Tearpro Eye Drop is a combination of two lubricating medicines: Polyethylene Glycol and Propylene Glycol, which treat dry eyes. They work similarly to natural tears and provide temporary relief from burning and discomfort due to dryness of the eye.
Your doctor has prescribed Tearpro Eye Drop to reduce dryness in the eyes. To avoid contamination, do not touch the dropper tip or let it touch your eye or any other surface. Apply pressure on the corner of the eye (close to the nose) for about 1 minute immediately after instilling the medication to prevent it from draining out. Try not to blink or rub your eye. Make sure to use it within 4 weeks of opening the bottle. Try to keep your environment less dry by reducing excessive use of room heaters or using a humidifier. Wear glasses or sunglasses to protect your eyes from wind and dust when out in a hot, dry climate. Rest your eyes by taking regular breaks if you spend long periods in front of a screen.
Wash your hands before applying Tearpro Eye Drop to avoid contamination. Do not touch the tip of the dropper. If you wear contact lenses, remove them before using Tearpro Eye Drop. Tilt your head back, look up, and pull down the lower eyelid to make a pouch and then apply Tearpro Eye Drop.
Tearpro Eye Drop may temporarily blur your vision. Avoid driving or operating machinery after using Tearpro Eye Drop until your vision returns to normal.
Keep this medicine in its original container, tightly closed. Store it according to the instructions on the packaging or label. Do not consume any leftover medication. Make sure unused medication is disposed of properly and out of reach of pets, children, and other people.
