Introduction

Tamsuk-D Tablet SR is a combination of Tamsulosin and Dutasteride, used to relieve symptoms of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH). It helps ease urination difficulties and frequent urination. The medication should be taken at the same time each day, with or without food. Common side effects include impotence, decreased libido, breast pain, and ejaculation disorders. It may cause dizziness or drowsiness, especially when starting the treatment. Women and children should not take this medicine. Consult your doctor if you have low blood pressure, liver, or kidney disease. Avoid alcohol as it can increase dizziness.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it whole without chewing, crushing, or breaking it. It can be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time each day.

Tamsuk-D Tablet SR combines Tamsulosin, an alpha-blocker that relaxes the muscles around the bladder exit and prostate gland to ease urine passage, and Dutasteride, a 5-alpha-reductase inhibitor that shrinks the prostate gland by decreasing the hormone levels that cause its growth.

You have been prescribed Tamsuk-D Tablet SR to relieve the symptoms of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH). Take it approximately 30 minutes after the same meal each day. Tamsuk-D Tablet SR may cause dizziness or blurring of vision. Do not drive or do anything requiring concentration until you know how it affects you. Rise slowly if you have been sitting or lying down to lower the chance of feeling dizzy or passing out. Inform your eye doctor about the usage of Tamsuk-D Tablet SR if you are scheduled for eye surgery due to cataract or glaucoma. It may cause difficulty achieving or maintaining an erection, decreased sex drive, and ejaculation disorders. Do not donate blood for 6 months after taking the last dose of Tamsuk-D Tablet SR.
