T-Score Kit is a combination of three medicines used to treat postmenopausal osteoporosis in women who are at risk of vitamin D insufficiency.

Introduction

T-Score Kit is best taken in an empty stomach. You should take it regularly at a fixed time each day. Taking it at the same time every day will help you remember to take it. It may take several days to get the full benefit of this drug. Do not stop taking the medicine until your doctor tells you it is alright to stop. This medicine may only be part of a treatment program that may also include changes to your diet and taking other medicines and vitamin supplements.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. T-Score Kit is to be taken empty stomach.

T-Score Kit is a combination of two medicines: Alendronic Acid, Calcium and Vitamin D3 which treat osteoporosis. Alendronic Acid is a bisphosphonate. It works by suppressing the activity of osteoclasts cells that cause destruction of bone. This strengthens the bone and minimizes the risk of fractures. Calcium helps build and maintain bones while Vitamin D3 helps your body effectively absorb Calcium. Vitamin D3 additionally supports the muscles needed to avoid falls.

Take it in the morning at least 30 minutes before eating or drinking anything. Do not take antacids or any other medication 2 hours before or after taking this medicine. Maintain an upright posture for 30 minutes after taking the medication so the medicine does not irritate your food pipe. It is important to look after your mouth and teeth while you are taking this medicine. Have regular dental check-ups and inform your dentist about taking Alendronic Acid. Do not stop taking the medicine until your doctor tells you it is alright to stop.
