Sydic-MR Tablet is a combination of a muscle relaxant (Chlorzoxazone) and two pain relieving medicines (Diclofenac and Paracetamol). The muscle relaxant works on the centers in the brain and spinal cord to relieve muscle stiffness or spasm, thereby improving movement of muscles. The pain relieving medicines work by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers in the brain that cause pain and inflammation (redness and swelling).

Frequently asked questions
What is Sydic-MR Tablet?
Sydic-MR Tablet contains a combination of Diclofenac, Paracetamol, and Chlorzoxazone. This medication is used to relieve muscle pain. Chlorzoxazone works by relaxing muscles in the central nervous system. Diclofenac and Paracetamol decrease chemical substances (prostaglandins) in the body that cause pain and inflammation.
Is Sydic-MR Tablet safe for me?
Sydic-MR Tablet is generally safe for most individuals. However, it can cause common side effects like nausea, vomiting, heartburn, stomach upset, diarrhea, loss of appetite, dry mouth, weakness, drowsiness, and other rare or uncommon side effects. Please report any persistent problems to your doctor immediately.
Can I stop taking Sydic-MR Tablet once my pain is relieved?
You should continue taking Sydic-MR Tablet if prescribed by your doctor for a specific duration, but you can discontinue it when using it for short-term pain relief. Do not abruptly stop using the medication without consulting your doctor.
Can Sydic-MR Tablet cause nausea and vomiting?
Yes, Sydic-MR Tablet may cause nausea and vomiting. If you experience nausea while taking this medication, consider taking it with milk or food, or an antacid. Avoid consuming fatty or fried foods alongside this medicine. In case of vomiting, take in small amounts of water frequently. If nausea persists, please talk to your doctor as you may need further advice.
Can Sydic-MR Tablet cause dizziness?
