Introduction

Super Cold Tablet is a medicine used to treat common cold symptoms. It provides relief from allergic symptoms like runny nose, sneezing, watery eyes, and nasal congestion. It also blocks the release of certain chemical that cause pain and inflammation and relieves aches and fever associated with cold.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Super Cold Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

Nimesulide is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that cause pain and inflammation. Paracetamol is an analgesic (pain reliever) and antipyretic (fever reducer) that blocks the release of certain chemical messengers in the brain that are responsible for pain and fever. Phenylephrine is a nasal decongestant that narrows the small blood vessels providing relief from congestion or stuffiness in the nose. Caffeine is a stimulant that works by blocking the action of certain natural substances (adenosine and phosphodiesterase).

Super Cold Tablet is prescribed to get relief from symptoms of common cold. Take exactly as directed by your doctor or on the label. Do not increase the dosage or take for longer than is recommended. Call your doctor if your symptoms have not improved within seven days of treatment. Inform your doctor if you are taking any other medications for cold. Along with taking Super Cold Tablet, do the following simple tips at home to get relief: steam inhalation, gargling with warm saltwater, apply vapor rubs on chest and back if needed, take enough rest, take warm food and fluid only, ensure adequate fluid intake, and advise hygiene measures to reduce spread: frequent hand-washing, avoiding sharing towels, pillowcases, etc.
