Sulseas DS 1000mg Tablet is to be taken with food. This will help you prevent an upset stomach. You should take it regularly and at the same time each day to get the maximum benefit from it. Keep taking it as recommended by your doctor and complete the dose even if you feel better. Taking it with plenty of water can help you avoid kidney problems such as kidney stones. Using this medicine may cause some common side effects such as nausea, headache, loss of appetite, vomiting, diarrhea, and gastrointestinal discomfort. You should consult with your doctor if any of these side effects do not resolve with time or get worse. Your doctor may help with ways to reduce or prevent these symptoms. To make sure the medicine is safe for you, before taking this medicine, let your doctor know if you have any problem with your heart, kidneys, or liver. Take it with food to avoid an upset stomach. It may take 6-8 weeks for Sulseas DS 1000mg Tablet to work. Keep taking it as prescribed. Drink plenty of fluids while taking Sulseas DS 1000mg Tablet in order to avoid kidney problems such as kidney stones. It may cause a deficiency of folic acid. Take the supplements as suggested by the doctor. Do not take Sulseas DS 1000mg Tablet if you are allergic to sulfa drugs or aspirin. It may discolour your skin, urine, saliva, and tears an orange/yellow colour. This is normal and not harmful. Regular blood tests to monitor your liver function, kidney function, and the levels of your blood components are required while taking this medicine. Do not stop taking the medication suddenly without talking to your doctor.

Sulseas DS 1000mg Tablet belongs to a group of medicines called aminosalicylates. It's possible that Sulseas DS 1000mg Tablet might affect your kidney function, so it's crucial to ensure your kidney function is normal before starting treatment. If you experience any changes in kidney function during treatment with Sulseas DS 1000mg Tablet, please consult your doctor immediately.
Before starting your treatment and regularly during treatment, your doctor will advise you to get blood tests to check your blood cell counts and kidney function. The tests should also be done to measure substances produced by your liver known as enzymes (liver function tests) and urine for protein and blood.
In some males, Sulseas DS 1000mg Tablet has been linked to a decrease in sperm count. However, these effects often disappear after you stop taking the medication.
You should avoid using Sulseas DS 1000mg Tablet with azathioprine because there are chances of a decrease in blood cell count, which can be a serious side effect.
