Sufrate Ssd Cream is only meant for external use and should be used as advised by your doctor. A thin layer of the medicine should be applied only to the affected areas of the skin with clean and dry hands. If it gets into your eyes, nose, mouth or vagina rinse with water. It may take several days to weeks for your symptoms to improve, but you should keep using this medicine regularly. The course of the treatment should be completed to ensure better efficacy of the medicine. If your condition does not improve or gets worse, you should talk to your doctor.

Silver Sulfadiazine is an antibiotic. It stops bacteria from producing folic acid a vitamin required for bacterial multiplication. Chlorhexidine Gluconate is an antiseptic and disinfectant which effectively cleans out cuts, wounds and burns to prevent infection.
Sufrate Ssd Cream is used for the treatment of burns. Clean the affected area and then apply the cream using a sterile gloved hand or a sterile spatula. Apply it once or twice daily and re-apply to any areas from which it gets removed. The affected areas should be covered with the cream at all times. It may cause minor burning, stinging or irritation when applied. Inform your doctor if this does not go away. Avoid contact with your eyes, nose or mouth. Rinse it off with water if you accidentally get the cream in these areas.
Sufrate SSD Cream usually starts working soon after application. However, it may take a few days for the cream to fully kill harmful bacteria and alleviate your symptoms.
