Introduction

Strepsils Medicated Orange Lozenges is a combination of mild antiseptics and local anaesthetics that is 2, 4-dichlorobenzene alcohol and amylmetacresol, to effectively relieve an acute sore throat. 2,4-dichlorobenzene alcohol (DCBA) is responsible for killing bacteria and viruses that cause mouth and throat infections, while amylmetacresol reduces and relieves irritation of the throat. Strepsils lozenges come in honey and lemon flavour as well.

Dissolve one lozenge slowly in the mouth every 2-3 hours. No more than 12 lozenges per 24 hours.

The combination of 2,4-dichlorobenzene alcohol and amylmetacresol helps to kill bacteria and viruses that cause mouth and throat infections, reducing and relieving irritation of the throat.
