Steri Mouth Wash is a combination of two medicines: Benzydamine and Chlorhexidine gluconate. It is used to treat mouth infections. Benzydamine is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) which works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that cause pain and inflammation. Chlorhexidine gluconate is an antiseptic and disinfectant. It works by binding to the surface of teeth, inner cheeks, and gums, killing the infectious microorganisms that cause gum disease, tartar, and other mouth infections. Steri Mouth Wash should be used as directed by your doctor. Do not use it more than the recommended dose.
Check the label before use. Take the mouthwash in the quantity as advised by your doctor and put it in your mouth. Swish for 30 seconds to 1 minute and spit it. Do not swallow. Avoid eating, drinking, or smoking for at least 30 minutes after rinsing.
