Introduction

Staphlin Capsule is a prescription medicine used to treat various types of bacterial infections. It fights against the microorganisms to prevent their growth and further spread of the infection. It also prevents diarrhea which may occur as side effect of this medicine.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Staphlin Capsule may be taken with or without food but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

Staphlin Capsule is a combination of three medicines: Ampicillin, Cloxacillin, and Lactobacillus. Ampicillin and Cloxacillin are antibiotics which work by preventing the formation of the bacterial protective covering that is essential for the survival of bacteria in the human body. Together they eradicate your infection effectively. Lactobacillus is a live microorganism which restores the balance of good bacteria in the intestine that may get upset with antibiotic use or due to intestinal infections.

Take your medication timely to maintain steady levels in your body. Do not skip any doses and finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better. Stopping it early may make the infection come back and harder to treat. Discontinue Staphlin Capsule and inform your doctor immediately if you get a rash, itchy skin, swelling of face and mouth, or have difficulty in breathing. It is advisable to drink plenty of fluids and a healthy diet while taking the medicine. It may cause dizziness. Do not drive or do anything that requires mental focus until you know how the medicine affects you. Avoid consuming alcohol while taking medication as it may cause increased side effects. It is advisable to take a healthy diet and drink plenty of water while taking the medicine. Do not drive if it makes you feel sleepy or dizzy. Take adequate rest for a faster recovery.
