Stamaril Vaccine is a vaccine given to individuals 9 months and older for prevention of yellow fever. It is recommended for individuals living in or traveling to endemic areas. The vaccine is given for the prevention of yellow fever and is not a treatment for the disease.

Your doctor or nurse will give you this medicine. Kindly do not self-administer.

Stamaril Vaccine is a vaccine. It helps develop immunity by initiating a mild infection. This type of infection does not cause illness but it does stimulate the body's immune system to produce antibodies to protect against any future infections.

Seek emergency medical attention if you experience unusual symptoms such as high fever, behavioral changes, allergic reactions or flu-like symptoms after taking Stamaril Vaccine. Inform your doctor if you notice difficulty in breathing, hoarseness or wheezing, paleness, weakness, a fast heartbeat, dizziness, or severe allergic reactions within a few minutes to a few hours after the shot. Tell your doctor if you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant or are breastfeeding. Inform your doctor if you have a history of allergy to eggs or chicken. If you are ill with a fever, you should ideally postpone the injection until you are better.
