Sprot 200 mg/250 mg Tablet is a combination of two antibiotics which is used to treat diarrhea and dysentery. It prevents the growth of the infection-causing microorganisms.

Sprot 200 mg/250 mg Tablet is a prescription medicine. It is advised to take it as the prescription. It should be taken with food but it must be taken at a fixed time to ensure better efficacy. Do not consume more than the recommended dose as this may have harmful effects on your body. If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember. The treatment must be completed even if you feel better. Sprot 200 mg/250 mg Tablet may lead to some side effects such as nausea, headaches, dryness of mouth, etc. To overcome any such side effects, it is advised to eat a healthy balanced diet and drink plenty of fluid. Sprot 200 mg/250 mg Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Metronidazole and Diloxanide. Metronidazole is an antibiotic. It kills the bacteria and other microorganisms that cause infections by damaging the DNA. Diloxanide is an amoebicide. It works inside the large intestine to kill the infection causing amoeba (parasites). Together, they treat your infection effectively.

Sprot 200 mg/250 mg Tablet should be taken with food but at the same time every day. Do not skip any doses and finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better. It may cause dizziness. Don't drive or do anything that requires mental focus until you know how medicine affects you. It is advisable to stay hydrated and drink plenty of water to overcome medicine side effects. Discontinue Sprot 200 mg/250 mg Tablet and inform your doctor immediately if you get a rash, itchy skin, swelling of face and mouth, or have difficulty in breathing.
