Spotlite Cream is a prescription medicine that should be used in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. It is for external use only and should not be used more than the recommended dose. Inform your doctor if you have known allergies from this medicine. Common side effects include burning, irritation, itching, and redness at the application site.

This medicine is for external use only. Use it in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Clean and dry the affected area and apply the cream. Wash your hands after applying unless hands are the affected area.

Spotlite Cream is a combination of three medicines: Hydroquinone, Tretinoin, and Fluocinolone acetonide which treat melasma. Hydroquinone reduces the amount of a skin pigment (melanin) that causes darkening of skin. Tretinoin helps the skin to renew itself more quickly. Fluocinolone acetonide blocks the production of certain chemical messengers (prostaglandins) that make the skin red, swollen, and itchy.

Wear long-sleeved clothing, sunglasses, and hat whenever you step outside in the hot sun for better protection. Don't cover the area being treated with airtight dressings such as bandages unless directed by a doctor.
