Introduction

Spery 4mg/2mg Tablet is taken with or without food, preferably at night. However, it is advised to take it at the same time each day as this helps to maintain a consistent level of medicine in the body. Take this in the dose and duration advised by your doctor. If you miss a dose of this medicine, take it as soon as you remember. It is important not to stop this medicine suddenly without talking to the doctor as it may worsen your symptoms.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Spery 4mg/2mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

Spery 4mg/2mg Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Risperidone and Trihexyphenidyl. Risperidone is an atypical antipsychotic which works by balancing the levels of chemical messengers (dopamine and serotonin) to improve mood, thoughts, and behavior. Trihexyphenidyl is an anticholinergic which works on the nervous system and corrects some of the chemical imbalances that cause Parkinson's disease and certain side effects occurring during antipsychotic treatment.

Use caution while driving or doing anything that requires concentration as Spery 4mg/2mg Tablet can cause dizziness and sleepiness. Avoid consuming alcohol while taking this medication as it may lower its efficacy. It can cause dry mouth. Maintain good oral hygiene, drink water, chew sugarless gum, or suck on hard candy for the dry mouth. It may cause an increase in weight, blood sugar, cholesterol, and triglycerides (fat). Eat healthy, exercise, and monitor your levels regularly. Inform your doctor if you have glaucoma or trouble passing urine. Do not stop taking Spery 4mg/2mg Tablet without talking to your doctor first as it may cause worsening of symptoms.
