Specium Tablet contains calcium acetate that binds with the phosphate in the food you eat so that it gets eliminated from the body without being absorbed. In this way, high levels of phosphate in the blood are reduced.

Ask your doctor before using an antacid containing calcium while taking this medicine Do not take additional calcium supplements unless your doctor has told you to while on treatment with Specium Tablet If you are on thyroid medication, take this medicine 4 hours before or 4 hours after you take the thyroid medicine Avoid taking any antibiotics along with Specium Tablet. You may give a gap of 1-2 hours between the medicines
