Introduction

Spasmolar Tablet is a combination medicine used for the treatment of irritable bowel disease. It prevents the sudden spasm of muscles to relieve stomach pain and cramps. This medicine also promotes easy passage of gas to reduce stomach discomfort.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Spasmolar Tablet is to be taken with food.

Spasmolar Tablet is a combination of four medicines: dicyclomine, clidinium, dimethicone and paracetamol. Dicyclomine and clidinium are antispasmodics which work by relaxing the muscles in your stomach and gut (intestine). They stop sudden muscle contractions (spasms). By doing this, they relieve cramps, pain, bloating and discomfort. Dimethicone is as an anti-foaming agent. It breaks down the gas bubbles inside the stomach and allows easy passage of the gas. Paracetamol is an analgesic (pain reliever) and anti-pyretic (fever reducer) which works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that cause fever and pain.

Spasmolar Tablet helps relieve lower tummy (abdominal) cramps and pain associated with irritable bowel syndrome. Inform your doctor if you have an enlarged prostate gland, glaucoma, or trouble passing urine. If you are 65 or older, use Spasmolar Tablet with care. You could have more side effects. If you develop any new symptoms or if your symptoms get worse, make an appointment to see your doctor for further advice.
