Introduction

Softeron-Z Capsule is a combination medication containing Ferrous fumarate (Iron), docusate sodium, copper sulphate, and Folic Acid (vitamin B9). It is used to manage iron deficiency anemia, iron deficiency due to chronic blood loss or low intake of iron, and nutritional anemia, especially during pregnancy and lactation. Iron is essential for transporting oxygen throughout the body and maintaining red blood cells, while Folic Acid is necessary for numerous bodily functions, including nucleotide biosynthesis and the remethylation of homocysteine.
