Short Description

Softeron capsule is a medication used to treat iron deficiency anemia, iron deficiency due to chronic blood loss or low intake of iron, and nutritional anemia, especially during pregnancy and lactation.

Introduction

Softeron capsule contains Docusate sodium, Iron, and Folic Acid (vitamin B9). Folic acid is essential for numerous bodily functions, including nucleotide biosynthesis and the remethylation of homocysteine. It is especially important during periods of rapid cell division and growth. Iron transports oxygen throughout the body and maintains red blood cells, preventing anemia. Docusate sodium is a stool softener that relieves occasional constipation and produces a bowel movement in 12 to 72 hours.

Softeron capsule can be taken orally with water, after meals. Use under medical supervision.
