Sofokast 400mg Tablet is an antiviral medication used to treat chronic hepatitis C virus (HCV) infection. It works by lowering a load of hepatitis C virus in the body and removing the virus from the blood over a period of time. It should be taken in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Do not skip any doses and finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better. It should be taken with food, preferably at a fixed time.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Sofokast 400mg Tablet is to be taken with food.
Fatigue Dizziness Blurred vision Headache Nausea Insomnia (difficulty sleeping) Anemia (low red blood cell count)
It is not known whether it is safe to consume alcohol with Sofokast 400mg Tablet. Please consult your doctor.
Sofokast 400mg Tablet is probably safe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent any significant risk to the baby.
