Introduction

Sitcom Tablet can also be used to provide symptomatic relief following hemorrhoidectomy. This medicine can be taken with or without food. Take it regularly in the exact dose and duration for as long as the doctor has prescribed. Do not stop taking it until you have finished the full course of treatment even if you feel well. The medicine is generally well tolerated with little or no side effects. No serious or severe side effects have been reported. However, some people may experience nausea, dyspepsia, abdominal pain, diarrhea, etc. If you experience any such symptoms on taking this medicine, let your doctor know. They may be able to help you reduce or treat the side effects.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Sitcom Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

Sitcom Tablet has anti-hemorrhoidal properties, i.e., stops bleeding by shrinkage of blood vessels. It also acts as an antioxidant, an anti-inflammatory as well as an analgesic. This promotes healing and relieves any pain or inflammation associated with hemorrhoids (piles).

A fibre-rich diet (wholegrain bread, cereals, fruit, and green leafy vegetables) with six to eight full glasses of water each day and daily exercise are important in maintaining healthy bowel function. Do not take any other laxatives along with Sitcom Tablet without consulting your doctor. Sometimes certain medicines like iron tablets and antibiotics might cause constipation. Inform your doctor if you are taking any of them. Apart from using Sitcom Tablet, you can indulge in warm baths. It may help soothe the rectal area thus ease the pain if any. Don't ignore the feeling of needing to pass stools. Some people suppress this feeling and put off going to the toilet until later. This may result in formation of bigger and harder stools that are more difficult to pass later.
