Sitazit-D 10mg/100mg Tablet is a combination of two antidiabetic medications. Dapagliflozin increases urinary glucose excretion and reduces blood glucose levels. Sitagliptin reduces the amount of glucose produced by the liver by raising insulin levels and decreasing the levels of glucagon (the hormone that increases blood glucose level).
Sitazit-D 10mg/100mg Tablet is used alone or together with other diabetes medicines to control blood sugar and avoid long-term complications. Reduces the risk of heart attack, heart failure, or other cardiovascular events. May also reduce weight and blood pressure. May cause your body to lose too much fluid (dehydration) or you may urinate more often. Drink plenty of water and stay hydrated. May cause genital fungal and/or urinary tract infections (UTIs) in both females and males, so practice good hygiene. May cause hypoglycemia (low blood sugar level) when used with other antidiabetic medicines, alcohol, or if you delay or miss a meal.
