Introduction

Sitara-D 100/10 Tablet is a combination of two antidiabetic medications. It is used together with diet and exercise to improve blood sugar control. It helps in proper utilization of insulin, thereby lowering the blood sugar level. The dose will be decided by your doctor and don’t stop taking it without consulting them. If you do, your blood sugar levels may increase and put you at risk of serious complications like kidney damage and blindness.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush, or break it. Sitara-D 100/10 Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

Sitara-D 100/10 Tablet is a combination of two antidiabetic medications. Dapagliflozin increases urinary glucose excretion and reduces blood glucose levels. Sitagliptin reduces the amount of glucose produced by the liver by raising insulin levels and decreasing the levels of glucagon (the hormone that increases blood glucose level).

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush, or break it. Sitara-D 100/10 Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time. Practice good hygiene to prevent genital fungal and/or urinary tract infections. Monitor your blood sugar levels regularly while taking this medicine. Drink plenty of fluids while using it to prevent dehydration. Always carry some sugary food or fruit juice with you in case you experience hypoglycemia symptoms.
