How it Works:
Sispas Tablet is a combination of three medicines: Dicyclomine, Magnesium Trisilicate and Mefenamic Acid which relieve abdominal pain. Dicyclomine is an anticholinergic. It works by relaxing the muscles in your stomach and gut (intestine). It stops sudden muscle contractions, thereby relieving cramps and pain. Mefenamic Acid is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID). It works by blocking certain chemical messengers that cause pain but may damage the stomach lining. Magnesium Trisilicate is an inorganic salt which is added to prevent damage to the stomach lining.
