How it works
Siotec Ear Drop is a combination of four medicines: Gentamicin, Clotrimazole, Betamethasone, and Lidocaine. Gentamicin is an antibiotic that kills bacteria by preventing the synthesis of essential proteins required by bacteria to carry out vital functions. Clotrimazole is an antifungal that stops the growth of fungi by preventing them from forming their own protective covering. Betamethasone is a steroid medicine that blocks the production of certain chemical messengers (prostaglandins) that make the skin red, swollen, and itchy. Lidocaine is a local anesthetic that blocks pain signals from the nerves to the brain, thereby decreasing pain sensation.
Quick Tips

Avoid swimming and make sure the infected area does not get wet while bathing. Avoid getting it in your eyes or mouth. If this happens, rinse with water immediately.
