Introduction

Siokast 4mg Tablet is a leukotriene antagonist that works by blocking a chemical messenger (leukotriene). This reduces inflammation (swelling) in the airways and nose and improves symptoms. It is used to prevent asthma attacks in children, ease breathing difficulties caused by strenuous physical activities, and treat symptoms of skin and seasonal allergies such as runny nose, sneezing, itching, swelling, congestion, and watery eyes.

Never give Siokast 4mg Tablet to stop an attack that has already started as the medicine may not work for such cases. Make sure to keep all other rescue medicines handy for your child in case of any respiratory distress.
