Introduction

Silosure SF 8mg/5mg Tablet may be taken with or without food. You should take it regularly at evenly spaced intervals as per the schedule prescribed by your doctor. Taking it at the same time every day will help you remember to take it. The dose and duration of treatment will depend on the severity of your condition. Do not stop taking the medicine suddenly. Take it for as long as the doctor has prescribed for maximum benefits.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Silosure SF 8mg/5mg Tablet may be taken with or without food but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

Alcohol Warning

Avoid or limit alcohol consumption while on treatment with Silosure SF 8mg/5mg Tablet as it could lead to increased dizziness.

Silosure SF 8mg/5mg Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Silodosin and Solifenacin. Silodosin is an alpha-blocker. It works by relaxing the muscles around the bladder exit and prostate gland so urine is passed more easily. Solifenacin is an antimuscarinic. It works by relaxing muscles of the urinary bladder to prevent frequent, urgent or uncontrolled urination.

Silosure SF 8mg/5mg Tablet helps in relieving the symptoms of enlarged prostate. You might feel better within hours or days of starting the treatment. The full effect is usually seen within 2 weeks. Drinks containing caffeine may make your symptoms worse. Avoid the intake of excess fluid towards the bedtime since your sleep might get disturbed by the desire to get up and go to the toilet. If you are scheduled to undergo eye surgery due to a cataract or glaucoma, inform your eye doctor that you are taking this medicine.
