Silosure SF 8mg/5mg Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Silodosin and Solifenacin. Silodosin is an alpha-blocker. It works by relaxing the muscles around the bladder exit and prostate gland so urine is passed more easily. Solifenacin is an antimuscarinic. It works by relaxing muscles of the urinary bladder to prevent frequent, urgent or uncontrolled urination.

Silosure SF 8mg/5mg Tablet helps in relieving the symptoms of enlarged prostate. You might feel better within hours or days of starting the treatment. The full effect is usually seen within 2 weeks. Drinks containing caffeine may make your symptoms worse. Avoid the intake of excess fluid towards the bedtime since your sleep might get disturbed by the desire to get up and go to the toilet. If you are scheduled to undergo eye surgery due to a cataract or glaucoma, inform your eye doctor that you are taking this medicine.
