Introduction

Shelcal-ISO Soft Gelatin Capsule may be taken with or without food. It should be used in the dose and duration as prescribed by your doctor. It is advised to take this medicine at a fixed time. This medicine should not be taken more than the recommended dose. If you experience severe diarrhea, vomiting, or constipation, you should consult your doctor without delay. Before taking this medicine, tell your doctor if you have any other health conditions. Inform your doctor if you are taking any other medicines or if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush, or break it. Shelcal-ISO Soft Gelatin Capsule may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

Shelcal-ISO Soft Gelatin Capsule is a combination of three medicines. Calcium Carbonate is a synthetic Vitamin D that regulates the absorption of calcium in the body and strengthens the bones. Calcitriol is a dietary supplement to correct calcium deficiency. It works to promote healthy bones, muscles, nervous system, and heart. Soya Isoflavones is a phytoestrogen that improves the heart's health and strengthens bones in post-menopausal women.

Shelcal-ISO Soft Gelatin Capsule is used to treat osteoporosis in postmenopausal women. It is recommended that you take Shelcal-ISO Soft Gelatin Capsule at bedtime, preferably at least 2 hours after dinner. You may lie down immediately after taking it if you wish. If you take antacids (medicines to relieve heartburn) or medicines containing calcium, you should take them at least 2 hours after taking Shelcal-ISO Soft Gelatin Capsule to avoid interference. Inform your doctor if you have or have had a blood clot, heart disease, kidney disease, high blood pressure, or if you have had surgery on the arteries of your legs.
