Introduction
Sertafic 2% Ointment should be used in the dose and duration as prescribed by your doctor. Use it regularly to get the most benefit. Do not use more than you need as that will not clear your condition faster and may only increase the side effects. Do not use the medicine for longer than prescribed and let the doctor know if your condition does not improve after 2 to 4 weeks of treatment. The effects of the medicine can be increased by keeping the affected area clean, dry, and washing hands before and after use. If you have athlete's foot, wash your socks or tights thoroughly and change your shoes daily if possible.

Sertafic 2% Ointment is an antifungal medication which treats skin infections. It works by killing the fungi on the skin by destroying their cell membrane.
Quick Tips
Wash your hands with soap before and after applying the cream. Do not share your towel or clothes with anyone. Wear clean clothes every day to prevent infection. Apply an amount sufficient to cover the affected area and 1 inch of the immediate surrounding skin. Avoid getting in the eyes, nose, or mouth. If accidental exposure occurs, rinse immediately with plenty of water. It can take a few weeks for the infection to clear and a few months before the skin returns to its normal color. Inform your doctor if the infection has not cleared up after four weeks of treatment.
