The syrup combines three active ingredients: Phenylephrine, Chlorpheniramine Maleate, and Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide. Phenylephrine acts as a decongestant, Chlorpheniramine Maleate serves as an antiallergic, and Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide functions as a cough suppressant. Drink extra fluids to help loosen the congestion and lubricate your throat while you are taking this medication.
