How it works
Seflam-CZ Tablet is a combination of a muscle relaxant (Chlorzoxazone) and two pain relieving medicines (Diclofenac and Paracetamol). The muscle relaxant works on the centers in the brain and spinal cord to relieve muscle stiffness or spasm, thereby improving movement of muscles. The pain relieving medicines work by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers in the brain that cause pain and inflammation.

Frequently asked questions
What is Seflam-CZ Tablet?
Seflam-CZ Tablet contains Diclofenac, Paracetamol, and Chlorzoxazone. This combination medication helps relieve muscle pain by acting on the central nervous system and reducing chemical substances (prostaglandins) that cause pain and inflammation.
Is Seflam-CZ Tablet safe to use?
Seflam-CZ Tablet is generally safe for most patients. However, possible side effects include nausea, vomiting, heartburn, stomach pain, diarrhea, loss of appetite, dry mouth, weakness, drowsiness, and other uncommon or rare side effects. If you experience persistent problems, inform your doctor immediately.
Can I stop taking Seflam-CZ Tablet when my pain is relieved?
Seflam-CZ Tablet should be continued as prescribed by your doctor unless it's for short-term pain relief. If you are using it for a specific duration, please continue to take it until the time limit has passed.
Can Seflam-CZ Tablet cause nausea and vomiting?
Yes, Seflam-CZ Tablet can cause nausea and vomiting. If you experience these symptoms, consider taking your medication with milk, food or antacids. Avoid fatty or fried foods while using this medication. In case of vomiting, drink plenty of water or fluids by sipping frequently. Talk to your doctor if vomiting persists, and notice signs of dehydration such as dark-colored urine and infrequent urination.
Can Seflam-CZ Tablet cause dizziness?
Yes, Seflam-CZ Tablet can cause dizziness (feeling faint, weak, unsteady, or lightheaded) in some patients. If you feel dizzy, rest for a short time and resume taking the medication when feeling better.
Can Seflam-CZ Tablet damage my kidneys?
Long-term use of Seflam-CZ Tablet can potentially cause kidney damage. Normal kidneys produce prostaglandins that protect them from damage, while painkillers lower the levels of these prostaglandins in the body. This can lead to long-term kidney problems if the medication is used for an extended period.
Can I take a higher than recommended dose of this medicine?
Taking a higher dose of Seflam-CZ Tablet increases risks of side effects. If you experience increased pain or the pain isn't relieved by the recommended doses, consult your doctor for re-evaluation.
What are the recommended storage conditions for Seflam-CZ Tablet?
Keep this medication in its original container and tightly sealed. Store it according to the instructions on the package label or as directed by your doctor. Never give this medicine to pets, children, or others without proper medical advice.
