It also prevents infection after surgeries and animal or human bite wounds.

How it works
Sayfurox CV Dry Syrup is a combination of two medicines: Cefuroxime and Clavulanic Acid. Cefuroxime is an antibiotic that works by preventing the formation of the bacterial protective covering which is essential for the survival of bacteria in the human body. Clavulanic Acid is a beta-lactamase inhibitor that blocks the action of enzymes produced by bacteria to inactivate Cefuroxime.

Use Sayfurox CV Dry Syrup with caution, as it may potentially increase the risk of blood clotting problems in children who are underweight or experiencing growth challenges. This risk is further heightened if the child has pre-existing liver and kidney disease. Consult your child's doctor for personalized guidance.
My child is suffering from a seizure disorder. Can I give Sayfurox CV Dry Syrup to my child?

What if I give too much of Sayfurox CV Dry Syrup by mistake?
While an accidental overdose of Sayfurox CV Dry Syrup is unlikely to be life-threatening, it can potentially cause adverse side effects. Contact your child's doctor immediately if you believe you have accidentally given more than the recommended dose. Overdose may worsen the condition or lead to unwanted side effects.
For how long do I need to give Sayfurox CV Dry Syrup to my child?
Follow your doctor's recommendations regarding the duration of treatment with Sayfurox CV Dry Syrup. Usually, it takes 3 to 5 days for symptoms of infection to start improving. Can I get my child vaccinated while on treatment with Sayfurox CV Dry Syrup ?
Generally, antibiotics do not interfere with the components of vaccines or cause a negative reaction in children who have recently received them. However, it is recommended to wait until your child recovers from the illness before administering any vaccination. Once the child feels well, follow your doctor's advice regarding the vaccine.
Does a common cold caused by viruses always result in a secondary bacterial infection? When to start an antibiotic to prevent infection?
It is not typical for viral infections like colds to lead to secondary bacterial infections. However, it's important to follow your doctor’s advice regarding the best course of action for your child.
Can Sayfurox CV Dry Syrup impact my child’s digestion?

If your child experiences diarrhea while taking Sayfurox CV Dry Syrup, do not stop the medication course immediately. Contact your doctor for advice on how to proceed.
