Introduction

Samstar AT 2.5mg/50mg Tablet is a combination of two medicines: S-Amlodipine and Atenolol which lower blood pressure effectively. You can take it at any time of day with or without food, but it is best to take it at the same time each day. Keep taking it for as long as advised by your doctor. Even if you feel well, do not stop this medicine on your own because high blood pressure often has no symptoms.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Samstar AT 2.5mg/50mg Tablet may be taken with or without food but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

You have been prescribed Samstar AT 2.5mg/50mg Tablet for the treatment of high blood pressure. Lowering blood pressure reduces chance of future heart attack & strokes. It may cause dizziness. Get up slowly when rising from a sitting or lying position. Do not stop taking the medication suddenly without talking to your doctor as it can cause sudden increase in your blood pressure. Let your doctor know if you are pregnant or planning for pregnancy.
