Common side effects of this medicine include headache, diarrhea, nausea, joint pain, abdominal pain, and indigestion. Please consult your doctor if it persists for a longer duration. These are usually not serious but tell your doctor if they bother you or do not go away. Rarely, some people may experience a skin reaction or liver damage. Your doctor will closely monitor you for these in the initial period of treatment.

Samhep-TAF 25mg Tablet may reduce the risk of transmitting HIV-1, but the chance still exists. However, for HBV infection, there is no evidence that it reduces the risk of virus transfer to others. Therefore, patients with both HIV-1 and HBV infection should practice safe sex and refrain from sharing contaminated needles.

If you experience vomiting within an hour of taking Samhep-TAF 25mg Tablet, take another tablet. However, if vomiting occurs after more than one hour, you don't need to take another dose. Consult your doctor if you experience repeated vomiting or if it persists for a prolonged duration.
If you miss a dose of Samhep-TAF 25mg Tablet within 12 hours of your usual time, take it with food as soon as possible and resume the normal dosing schedule. However, if it has been more than 12 hours since you last took the medicine and it's almost time for the next dose, skip the missed dose and follow your regular dosing schedule.
