Salonimex Cough Expectorant is a syrup used to treat wet cough (cough with mucus) in children. It contains three active medicines: Ambroxol, Guaifenesin, and Terbutaline. Each ingredient plays a pivotal role in treating the symptoms of wet cough. Ambroxol is a mucolytic that thins and loosens mucus, making it easier to cough out. Guaifenesin is an expectorant that decreases the stickiness of the mucus and helps in its removal from the airways. Terbutaline is a bronchodilator that relaxes and widens the muscles in the airways. Give Salonimex Cough Expectorant to your child orally, with or without food. Give it with food to reduce the chances of stomach upset. You may be required to give this medicine to your child for a few days to weeks, depending upon your child's clinical condition and severity of the illness.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Measure it with a measuring cup and take it by mouth. Shake well before use. Salonimex Cough Expectorant may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

All these can trigger coughing. Make your child gargle with warm saltwater. Ensure your child takes enough rest.
