Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Sacutan 200 Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
Sacutan 200 Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Sacubitril and Valsartan which belong to a class of angiotensin receptor neprilysin inhibitor (ARNI). Avoid taking potassium supplements and potassium-rich foods such as banana and broccoli. Inform your doctor if you have a history of liver or kidney diseases.
Patients with a known allergy to any component of Sacutan 200 Tablet, as well as those with a history of allergy to ACE inhibitors or ARBs, should avoid using this medication. Additionally, it is not recommended to use Sacutan 200 Tablet in combination with other antihypertensive medications like ACE inhibitors or ARBs.
