Rytzine A 5mg/30mg Tablet is a combination medicine used to treat cough and relieve allergic symptoms such as sneezing, running nose, watery eyes, itching, swelling, and congestion or stiffness.

Rytzine A 5mg/30mg Tablet is taken with or without food in a dose and duration as advised by the doctor. The dose you are given will depend on your condition and how you respond to the medicine. You should keep taking this medicine for as long as your doctor recommends. If you stop treatment too early your symptoms may come back and your condition may worsen. Let your doctor know about all other medications you are taking as some may affect or be affected by this medicine.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Rytzine A 5mg/30mg Tablet may be taken with or without food but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
The most common side effects are stomach upset, dryness in mouth, headache, fatigue, and allergic reaction. Most of these are temporary and usually resolve with time.
Do not drink alcohol while taking this medicine as it may cause increased sleepiness.
Before taking Rytzine A 5mg/30mg Tablet, you should tell your doctor if you are breastfeeding.

Drink extra fluids to help loosen the congestion and lubricate your throat while you are taking this medication. Use caution while driving or doing anything that requires concentration as Rytzine A 5mg/30mg Tablet can cause dizziness and sleepiness. Do not drink alcohol while taking this medicine as it may cause increased sleepiness. Stop taking Rytzine A 5mg/30mg Tablet at least three days before taking an allergy test as it can affect the test results.
