Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Ryphen 100mg Tablet may be taken with or without food but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

Do not drive or do anything that requires mental focus until you know how it affects you. It may increase blood sugar levels. Inform your doctor if you are taking any medicines to treat diabetes. It may cause swollen gum (gum hypertrophy) hence take care of oral or dental hygiene. Talk to your doctor if you notice sudden mood changes or develop suicidal thoughts. Do not stop taking the medication suddenly without talking to your doctor as it may increase the seizure frequency.

Suddenly stopping Ryphen 100mg Tablet can cause a serious medical condition called status epilepticus, which is life-threatening. It's essential to consult with your doctor before stopping the medication. If necessary, they will gradually reduce the dose before discontinuing it completely.
Overdosing on Ryphen 100mg Tablet can lead to symptoms such as jerky eye movements (nystagmus), unclear speech, loss of balance, tremor, muscle stiffness or weakness, nausea, vomiting, dizziness, fainting, blurred vision, and slow/shallow breathing. In severe cases, this can cause coma, very low blood pressure, and respiratory problems that may be life-threatening.
You should not take Ryphen 100mg Tablet if you have liver disease or a history of developing liver problems due to the medication. Additionally, patients taking Delavirdine (an HIV treatment medication) should avoid taking Ryphen 100mg Tablet as it can reduce the effectiveness of Delavirdine and make the virus resistant to it.
