Introduction

Rospitril Plus 2 Tablet is taken with or without food, preferably at night. However, it is advised to take it at the same time each day as this helps to maintain a consistent level of medicine in the body. Take this in the dose and duration advised by your doctor. If you miss a dose of this medicine, take it as soon as you remember. It is important not to stop this medicine suddenly without talking to the doctor as it may worsen your symptoms.

Rospitril Plus 2 Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Risperidone and Trihexyphenidyl. Risperidone is an atypical antipsychotic which works by balancing the levels of chemical messengers (dopamine and serotonin) to improve mood, thoughts, and behavior. Trihexyphenidyl is an anticholinergic which works on the nervous system and corrects some of the chemical imbalances that cause Parkinson's disease and certain side effects occurring during antipsychotic treatment.

Use caution while driving or doing anything that requires concentration as Rospitril Plus 2 Tablet can cause dizziness and sleepiness. Drink water, chew sugarless gum, or suck on hard candy for dry mouth. It may cause an increase in weight, blood sugar, cholesterol, and triglycerides (fat). Eat healthy, exercise, and monitor your levels regularly. Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush, or break it.
