Introduction

Ropitor 2mg Tablet is used to treat Parkinson's disease and restless leg syndrome. It helps to treat excessive shaking by slowing down the body movements. It can be taken with or without food, and it is recommended to take it 2 to 3 hours before bedtime for restless leg syndrome. It is also important to avoid activities that require alertness, such as driving, until you know how the medication affects you.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Ropitor 2mg Tablet is to be taken with food.

Ropitor 2mg Tablet works by increasing the action of dopamine, a chemical messenger that is needed to control movement in the brain.

You have been prescribed Ropitor 2mg Tablet to treat your symptoms of Parkinson's disease and/or restless leg syndrome. Take this medicine 2 to 3 hours before bedtime for restless leg syndrome. Rise slowly if you have been sitting or lying down to lower the chance of feeling dizzy or passing out. Inform your doctor if you develop compulsive behaviors that are hard to control, such as binge eating, gambling, spending money, and sexual urges.
