Rocboost AD Shampoo is a combination medicine that treats fungal skin infections, killing the fungi that cause the infection and relieving itching and irritation.
Shampoo
Rocboost AD Shampoo is only meant for external use and should be used as advised by your doctor. This medicine should be used regularly to get the most benefits from it. Do not use more than needed as it will not clear the infection faster and may only increase the side effects. If it accidentally gets into the eyes, nose, or mouth, rinse with water thoroughly. This medicine is usually safe; however, it may cause burning, irritation, itching, and redness at the application site. These side effects are usually mild and self-limiting. Serious side effects are rare.
Use it as advised by your doctor or check the label for directions before use.
No common side effects listed.
Rocboost AD Shampoo is a combination of three medicines: aloe vera, ketoconazole, and zinc pyrithione. Aloe vera nourishes and moisturizes the skin. Ketoconazole is an antifungal medication that kills and stops the growth of fungi by destroying their cell membranes. Zinc pyrithione is also an antifungal medicine. It makes fungal cells absorb copper, which in turn disrupts protein utilization mechanisms in the cells. This is how it stops fungal growth.
Wash your skin with a mild cleanser and pat it dry before applying this combination medicine. Apply it as a thin layer onto a clean, dry, unbroken infected area twice a day. Use a moisturizer (if needed) to overcome skin dryness during the treatment with this medicine. Fungal infections often occur in warm, moist areas of the body. After washing or showering, ensure all areas of your skin are dried well, particularly areas such as skin folds and between your toes. Do not share your towel or clothes with anyone; wear clean clothes daily to prevent infection. This medicine may take several weeks to show its action. Keep using it as suggested by your doctor.
