Rocaltrol Capsule is a vitamin D analog that helps the body use more calcium from foods or supplements and regulates the body's production of parathyroid hormone. It is used to treat and prevent low levels of calcium and bone disease in patients with kidney or parathyroid gland problems. It also increases muscle mass, prevents and treats hypocalcemia, and reduces fatigue and muscular pains. Consult your doctor if you plan to take any other form of vitamin D along with this medicine.
Directions for Use
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Rocaltrol Capsule may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
