Rioci 1mg Tablet is a prescription medicine used to treat pulmonary arterial hypertension (high pressure in the blood vessels that carry blood from the heart to the lungs).

Rioci 1mg Tablet can be taken with or without food. Take it regularly and take it at the same time each day to help you remember. Do not skip any doses and finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better. Do not stop taking the medicine suddenly without talking to your doctor. Common side effects of this medicine include headache, indigestion, dizziness, nausea, diarrhea, hypotension, vomiting, anemia, gastroesophageal reflux, and constipation. Avoid driving or doing anything that requires mental focus until you know how this medicine affects you. Generally, most of its side effects usually resolve on their own and do not need any medical attention. However, you should consult with the doctor if you are bothered by any of the side effects.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Rioci 1mg Tablet may be taken with or without food but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

Rioci 1mg Tablet is a vasodilator. It works by widening the blood vessels that connect the heart to the lungs. This increases the blood supply to the lungs which reduces the workload of the heart.
Your doctor has prescribed Rioci 1mg Tablet to treat high pressure in the blood vessels (the pulmonary arteries) that carry blood from the heart to the lungs. Do not take Rioci 1mg Tablet if you are pregnant as it can cause serious birth defects. Do not take Rioci 1mg Tablet if you are also taking a nitrate medicine such as nitroglycerin to treat high blood pressure or heart disease.
