Rifaclean 200 Tablet is an antibiotic medicine used to treat infectious diarrhea. It works by killing and stopping the growth of harmful bacteria in the intestines.

Rifaclean 200 Tablet can be used alone or in combination with other medicines. It may be taken with or without food, preferably at the same time each day. It should be used in the dose and duration as advised by the doctor. Take it at the same time each day to get the most benefit and you should keep on taking this medicine for as long as you are prescribed. Stopping it early may make the infection to come back and harder to treat.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Rifaclean 200 Tablet may be taken with or without food but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

You have been prescribed Rifaclean 200 Tablet for the treatment of infectious diarrhea. It should only be taken for a maximum of three days. If your symptoms do not improve after three days, inform your doctor. Do not take a second course of Rifaclean 200 Tablet. It may cause reddish discoloration of urine. This is normal and harmless. Stop taking Rifaclean 200 Tablet and inform your doctor if your diarrhoea gets worse or starts to contain blood or mucus. Finish the full course of the medication even if you feel better. Stopping the course early increases the risk of coming back of the infection.
The duration of treatment with Rifaclean 200 Tablet depends on the condition being treated. For traveler's diarrhea, it is usually taken for 3 days, while for irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), it is typically given for 14 days.
Rifaclean 200 Tablet can help alleviate symptoms and delay the recurrence of IBS. However, its effectiveness in curing the disease completely is not guaranteed. It may improve symptoms such as diarrhea, abdominal pain, and discomfort.
