Retesto Injection is a medicine used in the treatment of male hypogonadism caused due to low testosterone levels. It is only prescribed to men with known medical conditions. It helps in restoring the level of testosterone in the male body.

Retesto Injection is similar to the natural male hormone testosterone. It works by replenishing the deficient testosterone levels in adult men. Lack of testosterone may cause various health problems including impotence, infertility, low sex drive, tiredness, depressive mood and bone loss.
You have been prescribed Retesto Injection for the treatment of low testosterone levels. Your doctor will administer this injection into a muscle or skin. Your doctor may monitor you for 30 minutes after your shot to make sure you do not develop breathing problems or get a severe allergic reaction due to the medicine. Your doctor may get your blood tests done regularly to monitor red blood cells, liver function, testosterone, and prostate specific antigen (PSA) levels while taking Retesto Injection. Inform your doctor if you experience symptoms such as frequent or persistent erections, irritability, nervousness or weight gain after starting treatment with this medicine. Your doctor will administer this injection into a muscle or skin. Your doctor may monitor you for 30 minutes after your shot to make sure you do not develop breathing problems or get a severe allergic reaction due to the medicine.
Retesto Injection is a synthetic form of testosterone, a male sex hormone, used to treat male hypogonadism, a condition where the body does not produce enough testosterone.
No, Retesto Injection should not be used for increasing muscle mass and physical ability in healthy individuals, as this may cause harmful effects when used inappropriately. Additionally, using Retesto Injection in healthy individuals may lead to hormonal imbalance.
While some effects may start showing within 3 weeks, others may take longer. For example, changes in sexual interest may appear after 3 weeks, while changes in erections and ejaculations may take up to 6 months.
Retesto Injection should not be given to men with breast cancer, prostate cancer, kidney disease, liver cancer, or increased levels of calcium in the blood. It is also not recommended for females, children under 18 years, and elderly patients over 65 years of age.
The major health risks associated with the use of Retesto Injection in men are heart attack, stroke, and prostatic carcinoma.
You should have your blood tests done more frequently to check your bleeding time when taking warfarin along with Retesto Injection, especially when starting and stopping Retesto Injection. Consult your doctor for advice.
