It also causes dizziness and sleepiness, so avoid driving or activities requiring mental focus until you know how it affects you. This medicine may increase your weight, blood sugar, and cholesterol, but a healthy diet and regular exercise can help mitigate these effects. Restonorm Plus Tablet is a combination of Risperidone and Trihexyphenidyl. Risperidone is an atypical antipsychotic that balances the levels of chemical messengers (dopamine and serotonin) to improve mood, thoughts, and behavior. Trihexyphenidyl is an anticholinergic that works on the nervous system to correct chemical imbalances causing Parkinson's disease and certain side effects during antipsychotic treatment.

Restonorm Plus Tablet helps treat schizophrenia or mania. Trihexyphenidyl controls drug-induced abnormal movements. Use caution while driving or doing anything that requires concentration as it can cause dizziness and sleepiness. Avoid consuming alcohol while taking this medication as it may lower its efficacy. It can cause dry mouth. Maintain good oral hygiene, drink water, chew sugarless gum, or suck on hard candy. It may cause an increase in weight, blood sugar, cholesterol, and triglycerides. Eat healthy, exercise, and monitor your levels regularly. Inform your doctor if you have glaucoma or trouble passing urine. Do not stop taking Restonorm Plus Tablet without talking to your doctor first as it may cause worsening of symptoms.
